King Henry IV's throne is under threat: a faction of his former allies—including the valiant young Hotspur—has turned against him, while his own son, Prince Hal, carouses with low-life drinking companions and the corrupt Sir John Falstaff. Shakespeare's iconic history play becomes a stirring coming-of-age story as Hal is called to abandon debauchery, embrace his royal duty and confront his destiny.
