Bret Levick
Bret Levick, a stalwart of American rock, is renowned for his edgy lyricism and magnetic onstage persona that has kept audiences hooked for nearly two decades. His innovative musical and vocal styles were first exhibited in the late '90s with LA-based indie band Gifthorse, which he co-created. The band's unique sound quickly gained traction and resulted in a signing with Pinch Hit records, an accomplishment largely credited to their hit single "Heather's Arrest" reaching an impressive #3 on commercial modern rock radio charts, a feat rarely achieved by independent bands of the time.
Today, Levick is a vibrant part of Ashland, Oregon's culturally rich community where he continues to write, produce, and perform. His captivating compositions have permeated various media, from commercials and television series to feature films, proving his wide-ranging influence in the music scene. Apart from delighting fans as the frontman of his indie roots band LEFT, Levick invests in nurturing the next generation of talent, producing for emerging local artists such as The Rogue Suspects, Kieran Devine, and notably the prodigious teen indie rock band, "The Seaons".
